Château de Comiac is a wine estate located at the foot of the Cévennes mountains. The estate covers 12 hectares, 10 of which are vineyards cultivated using organic farming methods .
Our Grape Varieties:
White wines: Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Vermentino and Roussanne.
Reds: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre.

IGP Cévennes
The vines are cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment (mechanical soil work with organic fertilizer, manual pruning and shoot thinning) in order to obtain optimal quality while respecting our fauna and flora.
The vines are planted on shallow, stony clay-limestone soils, facing due south, with a very hot and dry climate which allows the production of very aromatic wines.
Being located at the foot of the Cévennes brings us a nighttime coolness which allows us to create fresh and naturally balanced wines with low alcohol content.
Our wines are vinified and macerated at the right temperature to seek out round and fine tannins while preserving the different aromas, and this is done by us in our cellar at Château de Comiac .
